We read a book called Bad News I'm in Charge by Bruce Ingman. We had been talking about leaders and how teachers lead the class. We had to write an imaginative piece saying what we would do if we were the teacher.
****
If I were teacher of
Room 7, I would….
Attend meetings even
though they are soooo boring. I would just fall asleep and hope the people
don’t notice.
I would drink heaps of
coffee to keep my energy up so I can play fun, exciting games with the class.
I would make a stop to
maths and homework and replace them with HOURS of playtime.
I would put things on
the walls, game instructions, artwork, decorations and posters that say: Death
to maths! Death to homework! HOORAY FOR FUN!
I would enjoy being
teacher of Room 7 but for now I’ll leave that job for Ms D.

If I was the teacher I
would...
Always accidentally
spill coffee on the children’s projects then give them bad marks.
I would have to have
at least three good hours of video games.
I would never go to
work without earplugs.
At three o’clock every
day I would run round the school shouting hallelujah and play on the playground.
I would have a rule to
NEVER eat fruit or vegetables.
In the classroom there would have to be at least fifteen pieces of rubbish on the floor.
I would tell everyone
at maths time, “Maths is a waste of brain space when you can just buy a
calculator.” Which is only the truth.
I would ban books
because they are boring.
That is what I would
do if I was the teacher.

IF I WAS THE…..TEACHER!
If I was the teacher in Room 7 I would always have to go to meetings,
meetings are soooooo boring and all you do
is sit around and listen to
people talking about rubbish. I would make up excuses so I
wouldn’t have to go to them.
Another thing I have to do is mark all of
the kids books, I always have
books scattered all over my desk. While
everyone is out having fun
in the weekend and after school I’m stuck
inside marking everybody's
books, but its interesting to see what
people do.
One of my favourite things to do is drink
COFFEE !!! Its so yummy and
helps me stay awake at night when I’m
typing on my computer. I love
computers because its so much easer then
writing everything down
and the more you do it the better you get.
So those are some of the things I would do
if I was the teacher in Rm 7.

If I was the teacher in Room 7 I would:
Do really fun sports.
Go outside when it's boring inside and we would bat , throw,
run and score.
We would practise for sports
I might be the fittest teacher.
My classroom would be really sporty
Sometimes I would join school sports around wellington.
I personally practise at home.
In room 7 there would be heaps of equipment.
That’s
what I would do if I was the teacher in Room7.

If I was a teacher…
I would drink so much
coffee.
I drink 5 cups a day.
I drink so much coffee
because
I am always doing
sports or
rushing to a meeting.
I hate meetings
because I am
Not ALLOWWED to have
coffee.
They just chat.
So I just go under the
table and
Drink lots of coffee.
When someone says
we’re missing
A teacher I say I am
tying my shoe
Lace up.
I wish I could have
coffee.
Mainly we play sport,
well not really
Me because I let them
have free
Time. Then I pop into
the classroom
And drink coffee.
I am obsessed with
coffee.
That’s all the things
I do.

If I was a
teacher in room7 the sort of teacher I would be is a “just play games all day and have fun all day and every day’’kind of teacher.
Now that
would be amazing! It would be pretty easy to imagine…Wow that’s awesome!!
I’ve always
wanted to be a teacher. I know…I will go and get a full time job as a teacher!
The boring
part of being a teacher is all the meetings! They can sometimes be so, super
long and really boring!!!![yawn]I am so exhausted. What’s the time?[checking
the time on my watch] Ahh its midnight! How about I sneak out! Yeah![driving
home]
Yay! I’m home! Ow!
man! Now I have to wait and sleep all night to work as a teacher at school. Not
fair![yawn]I am happy that its morning. Whats the time? Oh no.I have to get all
dressed for teaching at school!

If I was a teacher I would:
Wait I forgot to introduce myself. Hi my
name is Dev I mean Mister. Dev.
So where were we? Oh yeah, If I was a
teacher I would be creative (art).
I am in love with art so… in my office I’ll
have all the art works famous artists did on the wall. For me I am strict on
art, especially on graffiti. I love doing graffiti in books, windows and walls.
Here comes the bad part detention Noooooo!
I like drinking coffee and that is the
solution of staying awake in boring old meetings. Coffee keeps me fit when I
don’t have my supps.
When I get completely tired of coffee I
throw it in the bin.
Here comes the final thing I want to get
rid of in my life MEETINGS NOOOOOO!! For me meetings are like terrors and I use
excuses.
These are some of my excuses.
1:ring up sick
2:my cat died
3:car broke down.
If you need tips then you have come to the
right person.
So these are my duties of being a teacher.

Who’s
the best teacher….
Me!
If I was the
teacher in room 7 I would let my class have a class pet. They
would be able to choose what pet they would like. Meetings are sometimes
exiting but I wish they were more on Art.
For their homework they would do reading &
writing.
Reading: They would read a book and answer the
questions I gave them. If they are good at reading they would read 2 chapters.
Maths: They would go on Studyladder and do the set
tasks I set for them.
On Friday they would each get a free drink at the end
of the day.
And that’s what I would do if I was the Teacher in
room7.

The Day I Took Over
Class.
If I was the teacher in room 7 I would be an
arty teacher with colours and colours of pretty artwork.
At all the meetings I always have my i-phone in
my pocket so I can secretly text my friends and family, play games and call my
friends too.
Sometimes there is lots of talk about art but
most of the time it is about red cards and c-cards, so when it is talk about
cards I pull out my i-phone and text my friend and family, play games and call
my friends.
But when we talk about art I’ll always want to
listen and talk too.
With my class I would have half the day maths,
writing, handwriting, reading, and one game. Maths, writing, handwriting and
reading would be quick.
And library day would be Monday and it would be
at the start of the day. And sometimes…(“Or”)…ok all the time at the end of the
day a cool as story at the end of the day. If I was a teacher in room 7 I would
do all these things.

If I were a teacher in room 7, I would
always let the kids do sports in the morning, while I eat chocolate bars. I
might let them have free time, but it has to be sports
I would always take the kids on field trips
to sport games like netball, basketball, football and many more. I would
probably take 2 cups of coffee with me because it gives me energy.
Sometimes I would go to rebel sports to buy
sport gear for the school (but normally for me) I would buy netballs, tennis
balls, shoes and heaps more (normally I would get told of by the principal for
not teaching the kids!!!)
I might tell the kids to choose a sport
player and we will might interview them in person or email them or something
like that. It would be a lot of fun.
That’s why I’d like being the teacher in Room7.

If I was the teacher
in Room 7 I would be a sporty teacher, the kids could play sports all day. The
children could learn how to play sports and then they would play all day with
their friends.
We would go on every
field trip. The sports that we would play are….. swimming rugby, soccer, hockey,
basketball and sprints. It would not matter if we loose or win because it’s
just a game.
Near the end of the
day the school would do a sports rotation and the kids would choose what sports
they would like to do out of rugby, soccer and sprints.
In the morning my
class would watch sports movies and if they wanted to, they could bring their
own movies to watch and they could bring lollies to eat during the movie.
In the class near my
desk I would have trophies everywhere, all about sports. And little mini
trophies around the room.
That’s if I was the
teacher in Room 7 of course.

If I was the teacher
in room 7 I would have lots of fun.
Every single day me
and my class would just go outside and have fun.
Also if there is a
meeting I am often late because all I do is have fun playing sports.
I don’t leave till 6pm
because it’s just too fun.
For art we just do
anything we want to do, because we are pretty much outside the whole day.
These are all the
things that I would do if I was a teacher.

If I was the teacher in Room7 I would be a
sports teacher a teacher where
you help kids how to play sports.
I would teach them how to play rugby soccer
tennis basketball and cricket.
We would go on trips to see lots of new
trophies and get signatures from the rugby players.
Then we would go back to school and I would
ask the kids what sport they would like to play for tomorrow.
That’s what I would do if I was the teacher
in Room7.

@@@@@@@@@@
I am teacher of Room 7 and I will tell you how my class goes:
I have a fuzzy purple carpet and blue walls. We have a class dog called
Fluffy Bum! He has a toy moustache.
Also I don’t go to meetings, the dog does, he wears the moustache and
when he comes back he says WOOF!!! And that is all I need to know.
Now I will tell you about the rules. EVERYONE wears socks inside, and
EVERYONE bounces on the mini tramp 10 times before coming inside.
My lunch is very yummy, I have one salty thing, one sweet thing, one
bit of fruit and something starchy.
Everyone gets hot chocolate at the end of the day.
I enjoy being teacher because I think being crazy is me.

If I was a teacher I would . . .
Go crazy for art.
In my spare time I either draw fantasy, paint scenery
& fold origami.
My class would be so bright you would need sunglasses.
I would always find myself doodling in every meeting
because they are boring.
Uncle Bills & Smiggle I visit every weekend.
I JUST WISH I WAS A FAMOUS ARTIST INSTEAD
OF A TEACHER!!!!

If
I was a teacher I would :
Hallelujah I’m going to teach Miramar
Central School. I am going to teach Room7.
No more homework for the kids. Hallelujah
x2 no more vegies for the world. I am not going to give any homework to anyone
{only if necessary }
I’m going to conquer Room7 mohha! Ha!ha! I’m never going to get fired!!!
I’m going to prank the other teachers, scaring the teachers to death, the
favourite thing about pranking is the laughing.
Also too bad is that the school charges for
coffee haha. I feel so sorry for the other teachers I get free coffee because I
know the principal’s weakness brussels spouts .
Oh back to the pranks ok I’m right now
thinking I’m going to buy some water balloons and fill them with water and
close the door put the balloons in the recycling bins and close the door and when the teacher
open the door and goes in splash the teachers will get dripping, soaking wet.
I’m going to make kids favourite food, chocolate fudge cake. Kids adore it
when we co-operate to make it they always ask ‘ is it ready?’ It drives me
crazy.
My class has so many awards, I am a little
bit cheeky because I give awards every day and every time I think for a reason
and they have so many awards {sometimes I give awards when they are bad}
That’s everything I’m going to do that’s
how I teach.
Richard
If I was the teacher……….
The carpet would be fuzzy, soft and purple and the walls would be yellow
and bright and cheerful.
There would be a comfy book corner with a table and cushions.
There is a class cat called moonlight . She is gray and at the end of
the day the children get to feed her and pat her :3
The days mean something!
Monday : fun day
Tuesday : news day
Wednesday : experiment day
Thursday : sports day
Friday : movie and popcorn at 1.15
Every day at 9.00 am everyone gets hot chocolate in a purple and
yellow striped cup
I hope I see you in my class!

WHO’S THE BEST TEACHER …….ME!!!
If I was a teacher I would give my class
hot chocolate
every Friday at 9oclock.
Meetings are boring I wish they were
more about wacky stuff.
HOMEWORK: they would play four tricks on
any-body.
Read every second chapter of a chapter book
& finally try
& make up two excuses for not eating
their lunch.
MATHS: They would have a number for example
22 break up the 2 on the end and make it
into something
wacky.
READING: I’ll make up a website called
Htpp/wackycookie/com/NZ. The kids would
play set tasks
I gave them.
TOPIC: for topic we are drawing silly, wacky,
funky looking
Monsters.
SPORT: we need 16 tennis balls and a wicket
get 2 balls and throw
Them somewhere. Everybody has to run and
grab a ball & try
& tag people.
& tag people.
Now you know who’s the best teacher.

&&&&&&&&&&
If I were the teacher
in Room 7 I would have fun with the children. Do some fun games outside and
inside (also be silly.)
I will also drink
coffee. But I will need two responsible Y6’s to check if there is some milk.
If there is no milk
the two sensible Y6’s will buy the milk.
I will also need to
give the children work! I will give them writing reading and maths. I will make
work fun too! (Just so they will do their work.)I will make sure that work is
not to hard and not to easy.
When the class has
finished their SSR I will give out the notices. If I could sell ice-creams I
will get some Room7 people to go to each class and tell them were selling
ice-creams.
That’s what I would do
if I was the teacher in room7.

I do different things each week…but I like
to
Buy some new things like ink pens( Different

I am a teacher.
I drink too much coffee.
I make up excuses for our class to win awards.
Homework for the week is to read 5 comics a day.
I would teach the children 4 tricks every Monday.
I love maths so my class should too.
I would have a shared lunch every Friday.
Me, personally, I like free time so I would have 20 minutes
