Paper Planes

This Term we are looking at Flight. We have been learning about Bernoulli's principle that explains lift, conducting simple experiments that show how fast moving air creates lower pressure than slow moving or still air.

Today we made paper planes. We tried out different designs to see which ones flew the best. It was a lot of fun. 

Learning to take photos - April 17th.

In the last week of term we were learning to take photos. We were trying to take photos that showed interesting lines, patterns, shadows, shapes and light.

We will know we are successful if:

Our photo is in focus

If it has a subject it stands out from the background

If there are interesting lines, patterns, shapes, light or shadows.

Each of us chose the photo we liked the best for the blog.
