Last
Friday (6th December 13) I woke up half an hour earlier than usual
because I was going to Auckland at 7:00 to get my UNSW ICAS Computer Skills
medal (it’s closer to a large gold coated coin than a medal).
When
we (me and my mum) got to Auckland (at 8:00) we went to my uncle’s house and
then we went to Butterfly Creek. At Butterfly Creek we saw fish, butterflies
(obviously), turtles, crocodiles, rabbits, mice, chickens, goats and dogs. I
got to hold a mouse and a rabbit (the rabbit seemed like he wanted to get away),
ride on a (very slow) train and watch a crocodile get lunch
After
we got back home (after taking about 75 pictures) I got to ride in (and fly) a plane
(and take another 68 pictures). On the plane I saw a seaplane and took a few
pictures of it. I noticed that that the flags on the bridge because of Nelson
Mandela dying. Then I flew the
plane really low and just before crashing pull the wheel up and turn it right.
On
Saturday (the next day) I went to Auckland University to collect my medal (and
certificate) after moving two fields of sheep together (and driving back to the
shed with 3 planes, a boat and other stuff).
The next day (Sunday) we had to get up early to
catch the plane home (and eat some “vegie chips” that say “hot off the barbie”
but aren't, being tipped over 60o, being bounced around and smashing
your head as the plane’s brakes franticly try to slow the plane down)
